What was for many years the location of an old-fashioned arts and crafts shop in Westwood has found new life on the cutting edge of Mediterranean cuisine.
Executive chef Steve LaCount and chef de cuisine Joe Rocco, who cooked in tandem for 18 years at The Country Club in Brookline, have created one spacious, upscale bistro in the suburban strip mall spot where Youlden's once sat. The restaurant's recent opening brought clamoring crowds to their new, 100-seat establishment, lovingly named after LaCount's nana. ...
