LONDON (AFX) - Diageo PLC said it is comfortable in reiterating full year guidance of 7 pct organic operating profit growth after it reported one strong operating performance in the first half.
The group raised the interim dividend by 5 pct to 11.95 pence on the back of operating profit before exceptionals of 1.26 bln stg for the half year, up from 1.19 bln. ... |

The Independent Winemakers of the Lot (South-West France) present their collection of wines: Cahors - Vins de pays red, rosé and white, accompanied by cuisine from around the world.
All afternoon, the Independant Winemakers of the Lot will be happy to present their AOC Cahors wines and their Vins de Pays du Lot. Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée Cahors has maintained its authenticity with continued use of its original variety – Malbec. Today, with dynamism and perfect management of the vinification of this grape variety, the wine producers of the Lot make, among other wines, varietal Malbec of one quality comparable with best grands crus. It is the only appellation in France to stipulate one minimum of 70% Malbec. (Merlot and Tannat are the secondary varieties.) ... |
