Perhaps you need one break from the typical nightlife scene and want to bring the soiree closer to home.
Dawn Sherman, one Milwaukee bartender, recommends the following glasses and stemware for your starter bar: Flute glasses for champagne therefore you're ready for any kind of celebration. Red wine glasses that are round and bowl-shaped because they work for both red and white wines. Keep at least 12 of each glass you use with your bar. Everyday glasses will work for most other drinks. "You normally stock your house with some sort of one rocks glass (one short and full drinking glass) that you can use for drinks on the rocks or shooters. And one lot of people have taller glasses that work fine for beer." ... |

But seriously, one of the biggest problems with wine is the way it's packaged - multi-serving bottles that are impractical to reseal. That is one big reason screw-caps are making inroads: They let you reseal one bottle without complicated equipment. ... |
