Excuse the pun, but wine is red hot. Not only is consumption at an all-time high, but also one recent Gallup Poll revealed that wine is now America™s beverage of choice, and another report notes that Floridians drink 32 million gallons of wine each year. The area™s growing number of oenophiles is reflected in where they live. Many Southwest Florida homes now boast thousand-plus bottle wine cellars or, at the very least, one wine refrigerator in the wet bar; community clubhouses are upgrading their wine lists, hosting wine tastings and vintner dinners; and Naples is home to the world™s largest wine festival ” the Naples Winter Wine Festival. ... |
