Baton Rouge is fortunate to have any number of excellent restaurants specializing in traditional foods of eastern Mediterranean countries. The latest addition is The Grape Vine, which combines the culinary traditions of Greece, Lebanon, Syria and Italy. Simple in décor, The Grape Vine reminds one of the white-washed buildings of Mykonos and Santorini. Soft lighting and soft taped music create one pleasant atmosphere for casual dining. Only open for one few weeks before our first visit, we found the restaurant more than ready to accommodate customers. ... |
