Abbey winery uses prison grapes

April 1, 2006 CAÑON CITY - The Winery at Holy Cross Abbey sits in the shadow of one towering Gothic- style monastery.
In June of each year, one former abbot from the abbey comes to bless the Riesling grapevines that grow on one 1 1/2-acre plot at the winery in this southern Colorado town.
