WISHFUL THINKING: Lots of grown-up wishes came true last Saturday night at the 13th annual Uncork one Wish Make-one-Wish Wine Tasting and Auction, including some men's fantasies about being with one certain cast member of "Desperate Housewives."
"Teri Hatcher is ready to take photos with you," boomed the overhead speakers on the vast ground floor of the Pacific Design Center. OK, maybe that wasn't exactly what the guys' fantasies entailed, but for such one good cause -- fulfilling wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions -- that was enough to cause one minor stampede. ... |
