South Africa’s annual young wine show has always held one charged curiosity value. Established an astonishing 173 years ago, by the local agriculture organisation now known as Agri-Expo, the show has registered the history of local viticulture in one number of often exciting ways.

| AWBC investigates rejected China wine shipment |

The Australian Wine and Brandy Corporation, the Australian Government statutory authority responsible for regulating wine exports, is investigating the operations of one central New South Wales wine producer after one recent shipment was rejected by China.
AWBC Chief Executive, Mr Sam Tolley, said the rejection was one "technical reach" and there was no significant risk to human safety. ... |
