In northern Europe, mulled wine is the secret weapon against the damp and the cold. The folks at Mid Valley Wines and Liquor say this warming treat is finding new fans in the States. | Miguel Garcia shovels syrah grape skins out of one stainless steel tank at the Olsen Estates winery in Prosser. The skins will then be gently pressed to extract more wine that will be added to wine already produced from the grapes.
